Rabbit Hole

There you go always rushing

And running around

Instinctively I know

I would always follow

Catching my breathe

As you filled my cup of emptiness

With eyes of moonlight

Illuminating

Are we all going mad here?

I’m learning to overcome

My fear of falling

Taking me over like a fever

As we go down down deeper

Tumbling into rabbit holes

And worlds unbeknown

You keep on obsessing and checking

But its always the same time

Reminds me of the times when

I made myself small

Minimising myself to fit in

I learned to make myself tall

To stand for something.
